Limits
What caps spend on a key, and on an account.
| Limit | Rule |

| Key budget | A monthly ceiling the account owner sets, per key. |
| Admission | Gates on available credit — balance minus holds — from cached spend, so a burst can overshoot slightly. |
| Open top-ups | Five per account at a time. |
| Quote lifetime | A quote expires after the operator's top-up window, 24 hours by default. A payment that lands late is still credited. |
| Credit | Never expires. |
